Thor, a very fluffy tabby cat with green eyes

Thor arrived in my life via Facebook. I saw a post about him needing a home because his human had to move and could not take him to her new living situation. The two younger kids and I drove to his place and instantly fell in love. Luckily he fit in very well with the cats and Ruby Red, my heeler.

Now he rules the roost in my small apartment and doesn't like his space being invaded by Blue. Blue is definitely a different dog from Ruby Red, more on that in another post.

People always guess he's a Maine Coon. Someday I'd like to test his genetic ancestry, but that has to wait for two other life goals to happen; don't die on me, Thor. My guess is he's a Norwegian Forest cat. He doesn't have the large, tufted ears of a Maine Coon. His large thick body and fur growth pattern is like a Norwegian Forest Cat's.

His purrsonality is as big as his 16 pounds of pure cat. Yes, 16 pounds! The vet thought he was fat. When he touched Thor though, his comment was "Whoa, that's all cat!"

As you can see, he makes himself comfortable wherever and whenever he pleases. He likes to bite my phone or my fingers if I lay in bed too long in the mornings. He greets me like a dog when I come home - a Hello and Please Pet Me while he runs to the front door or kitchen counter. He's a playful boy and would love to play with Blue if Blue wouldn't try to eat him. He might be the perfect crossover pet - a cat that acts like a dog. All these wonderful traits make him the perfect ESA cat for me.
